VP, Lead Project Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Lead Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects, from day-to-day operational tasks to implementation, ensuring the timely delivery of project management services to internal clients. This role involves the effective and efficient supervision of cross-functional project teams and the successful execution of initiatives such as branch openings, software upgrades, and new product development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for designing, planning, implementing and closing processes which include development of the scope of work, project plan and the management of time, cost, risk, communications, human resources and quality within projects. Provides leadership and support throughout the project life cycle. Schedules and facilitates project team meetings. Prepares meeting agendas, issues meeting minutes and develops and maintains project issues lists.
- Provides closure to projects by determining lessons learned from group dynamics at the completion of a project. Constantly seek methods and procedures to improve quality of effort and efficiency of operations.
- Establishes and maintains business partnering relationships with internal business units as assigned. Business partnering responsibilities include, but are not limited to managing the IT related projects derived from the assigned business units while maintaining a cohesive relationship that fosters a proactive approach in identifying and implementing solutions.
- Acts as a liaison to service providers and vendors to communicate project needs.
- Communicates project needs at Project Committee meetings to effectively allocate and manage resources in line with organizational priorities and goals.
- Identifies and resolves organizational, process and technical issues or problems that arise in any and all phase of projects.
- Coordinates internal resources to monitor & track progress and bring projects to completion to obtain desire project outcomes.
- Gathers, collects and researches statistical data and information relative to project objectives.
- Participates in other related tasks, projects and/or assignments as requested by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in project management.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of project management methodology and to logically follow a project to completion.
- Ability to analyze and organize statistical data and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of management.
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply mediation techniques.
- Ability to accurately handle multiple projects simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification or work experience preferred.
- Experience in the banking industry.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate. This position involves travel to customers and property locations.

Pay Details:
$92,300 - $131,800

Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs. This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
