Service Representative III - Core Systems Support

POSITION SUMMARY

The Service Representative III – Core Systems Support plays a critical role in supporting branches, the Contact Center, and internal departments by resolving inquiries related to deposit products and core banking system activity. This position has a strong focus on Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and ensures accurate processing, compliance, and outstanding internal service across a variety of account types.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all aspects of IRA plans and accounts, including documentation review, transaction corrections, tax reporting accuracy, auto distributions, beneficiary maintenance, and withholding setup
  • Serve as a primary point of support for Branch, Contact Center, and departmental inquiries related to deposit products, including checking, savings, certificates, safe deposit boxes, retirement accounts, and RMS concerns
  • Resolve inquiries received through multiple channels, including system queues, email, phone, and mail
  • Maintain and update customer and account information, including account type changes, rates, alternate addresses, and special account coding
  • Assist with daily review of consumer and business mobile deposits, including approval and exception handling
  • Support ongoing customer and account monitoring through review of Cold Storage and Horizon 360 reports
  • Assist with back‑office operational processing, including general ledger entries, safe deposit box payments, mail deposits, and official check generation
  • Perform additional duties and support activities as assigned by management

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4–6 years of experience servicing Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort navigating multiple banking systems and applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operations environment
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is primarily performed in a normal office environment with moderate noise
  • Prolonged sitting
  • Lifting 5–10 lbs. (e.g., printer paper, storage boxes)
  • Occasional bending or overhead lifting (e.g., storing files or boxes)
  • Hazards are those typically found in a normal office setting

PAY DETAILS

$22.87 – $28.63/hourly

 

Please note: The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job‑related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.

 

This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
