Project Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The primary purpose of the project management role is to lead, oversee and manage the successful delivery of one or more projects through the application of defined processes, using tools and techniques, to deliver the agreed upon project scope as quickly as possible, for the least cost, while exceeding customer/client expectations and maintaining acceptable levels of quality and risk. 
At the Project Manager I level, supervisory oversight will be required until the requisite level of com-petency is attained.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • With assistance, analyze project request documents to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.
  • Work with more senior project managers to keep the project portfolio up to date and relevant.
  • Quickly gain a level of proficiency enabling one to take on a number of smaller project with limited assistance.
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.
  • Setup meetings, create and distribute agendas, draft meeting minutes and distribute them to meeting attendees in a timely manner.
  • Establish rapport with all project participants where your role is viewed as a value added necessity.
  • Create project status reports in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Become proficient leading cross-functional meetings and demonstrate initiative to resolve issues.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 or more years in diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • Bank experience preferred, but not required.
  • Can demonstrate problem-solving, decision-making, and financial skills
  • Comfortable in a consultative environment and can demonstrate tact when required.
  • Adapts well to change.
  • Demonstrates superior communication skills, and an ability, with some supervision, to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.  Project Management software experience a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management certification is a plus.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate. This position involves travel to customers and property locations.

  • Lifting from 5 to 10 lbs. (printer paper, storage boxes)
  • Occasional bending or overhead lifting (storing files or boxes)
  • The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting

Pay Details:

$73,600 - $105,100

Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs. This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
