Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst - Woodbridge, NJ

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Identity and Access Management Analyst supports the Bank’s IAM operations by fulfilling approved access requests, processing joiner, mover, and leaver account lifecycle tasks, and maintaining accurate ticket documentation for user account creation, modification, and termination. This role works with business users, Technology, Information Security, application owners, vendors, and service partners to deliver identity administration capabilities across the Bank while adhering to approved service-level agreements and documented procedures. Success in this role is measured by the accurate and timely execution of approved IAM requests, complete documentation, and consistent adherence to established procedures.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of user access administration by processing and fulfilling access requests through the Bank’s ticketing system in accordance with IAM policies, procedures, and service-level agreements.
  • Review, validate, provision, modify, and deprovision access for onboarding, offboarding, employee transfers, returns from leave, temporary access, and ad hoc requests across Active Directory, Microsoft 365/email, and Bank-supported on-premises and cloud applications.
  • Ensure all access granted aligns with approved requests, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) standards, and least-privilege principles.
  • Maintain complete and auditable records of access management activities by documenting approvals, provisioning actions, role assignments, screenshots, evidence, and completion details within ServiceNow or other approved systems.
  • Monitor ticket queues, manage aging requests, identify SLA risks, and escalate issues involving missing approvals, application owners, vendors, or other dependencies as appropriate.
  • Provide first-level support for IAM-related access issues by gathering requirements, performing limited troubleshooting for IAM-managed applications, and coordinating with the appropriate support teams for issues outside the IAM scope.
  • Support governance, risk, and compliance activities by confirming that access requests contain required documentation and evidence, assisting with access review preparation, and escalating exception-based or unclear requests to management, Information Owners, or IAM leadership.
  • Contribute to operational excellence by participating in process improvements, maintaining current procedural knowledge, supporting knowledge-sharing initiatives, and helping update documentation and procedures for applications within the IAM provisioning portfolio.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience, or equivalent experience, in identity and access management, IT support, information security, or access administration.
  • Working knowledge of access request fulfillment, account provisioning and deprovisioning, Active Directory, Microsoft 365/email administration, ticketing systems, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer-service orientation, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures, protect confidential information, and maintain complete audit evidence in tickets.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical knowledge.
  • Prior banking or financial-services experience and familiarity with core banking systems such as Fiserv, Horizon, or FIS IBS Insight.
  • Exposure to automated provisioning workflows, ServiceNow request workflows, IAM/IGA tools, or modern identity technologies such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, SCIM provisioning, MFA, and RBAC.

Work is performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate. May also involve travel to customers and property locations.

Pay Details:

 

$26.15 - $32.67 hourly

 

Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.
