VP, Asset Based Lending - Relationship Manager III

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a VP Relationship Manager III in Asset Based Lending you will be responsible for origination, evaluation and structuring of complex ABL loan requests and transactions.   Additional responsibilities include portfolio management and cross-selling other Bank products.  15+ years of ABL industry experience recommended for the RM III role, and the candidate should be able to mentor junior staff.  Proficient with ABL legal documents.  As an RM III, you should have a proven track record generating new business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solicits credit-worthy potential and existing customers in an effort to develop new business and increase or retain existing business within the framework of the policy and procedures of the Bank.  Promotes profitable growth of the loan portfolio and work towards fee income goals.
• Oversee the preparation of loan presentations including detailed financial analysis and assessment of borrower's financial capacity and creditworthiness.  Assesses lending risks, identifies offsetting mitigants and makes recommendations on loan structure displaying sound credit judgment.
• Manages all aspects of assigned loan portfolio with emphasis on covenant and bank policy compliance, credit quality while maintaining accurate risk ratings.  Review of ongoing field examinations.  Review collateral trends and conformity charts.
• Establishes and promotes ongoing customer relationships; cross sell other Bank        products and services.
• Facilitates closing of the loan transactions with strict compliance with approved terms and conditions.  Proficient in reviewing ABL legal documents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 15+ years of Asset Based Lending experience
• Comprehensive loan analysis experience.
• Comprehensive financial analysis experience.
• Proven new business track record.
• Strong oral, written and communication and management skills.
• Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel) ABL industry specific software (ie Stucky or similar)
• Strong customer services skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment.  Noise levels usually are moderate. May also involve travel to customers and property locations.

• Occasional bending or overhead lifting (storing files or boxes)
• The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting.

• Require travel between Customer sites, Provident Offices, or Branches
