POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a member of our Treasury Management Sales department, the Treasury Management Sales Officer (TMSO) is responsible for selling the breadth of treasury management solutions to new and existing clients across business banking and commercial clients. This individual will grow sales revenue, educate and work closely with clients on identifying value added solutions, support business development activities, and proactively manage client relationships. The TMSO works closely and collaborates with several partners across the organization: treasury sales associates, onboarding specialists, relationship and portfolio managers, credit, risk, and retail.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and executes a sales strategy that achieves new to new client acquisition goals
  • Responsible for expanding relationships through cross sell initiatives to gain maximum share of wallet
  • Accountable for revenue growth, new business pipeline development, active client calling, port-folio development and pricing reviews
  • Provide consultative expertise and conducts client/prospect needs analysis to match recommended treasury solutions
  • Leads pricing and negotiation discussions with the client
  • Tracks sales activities and timelines to ensure deliverables are met and are on-time
  • Coordinate sales efforts and prospecting calls with relationship managers and partners to ac-quire new business and strengthen existing client relationships
  • Effectively manage risk in conjunction with the needs of the client, sales team and bank
  • Supports onboarding and treasury support teams as needed
  • Continuously expands knowledge of bank products and internal systems
  • Provides market feedback around industry trends, identifies product gaps and competitive landscape

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 6 years’ commensurate with job function.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge of all payables including commercial card and receivables.
  • Strong negotiator and business/financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
  • Able to modify sales approach to suit client requirements
  • Able to manage multiple demands and shifting priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
  • Strong negotiation and consulting skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CTP or CCM Preferred

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Prolonged sitting
  • Lifting from 5 to 10 lbs (printer paper, storage boxes)
  • Occasional bending or overhead lifting (storing files or boxes)

 

HAZARDS

Only those present in a normal office setting and those associated with driving.
