POSITION SUMMARY:
The PM II – SBL supports Bank’s goal of enhancing and increasing the efficiency of the sales force by way of processing & underwriting loan applications and providing portfolio management services to Retail (Market Sales Managers and Branches). Using past and current experience, analytical skills and systems to underwrite in support of loan decisions from application to closing and portfolio management (life cycle of a loan).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process both new and renewal loan applications, review and analyze financial statements, prepare cash flow analysis for C&I and CRE transactions and other supporting documentation of borrowers and guarantors to effectively recommend structure, price and decisions on small business loans.
- Utilize SBL's decisioning software and other Bank systems to properly process, decision, and document credit requests according to Bank policy and goals.
- Seek to maintain appropriate levels of Credit Quality in origination, renewal and portfolio monitoring of small business loans, consistent with overall objectives of the Department. Identifying problem loans, etc.
- Communicate loan decisions and recommendations to Retail (Market Sales Managers and Branch Managers) and other department personnel. Direct loans through due diligence and documentation processes.
- Assist with training (AppLink) and mentoring Retail (Market Sales Managers and Branches) with SBL’s process & procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in processing small business/commercial loans, underwriting, servicing or portfolio management.
- Skillset sufficient to translate analytical skills into making quality loan decisions.
- Willingness and ability to work closely with Retail and other Depts (internal to Bank) along with others external to Bank.
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills, sufficient to accomplish every aspect and task in the life cycle of a loan.
- Excellent, effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to provide guidance/training to others at the same or lower level.
- Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Familiar with technology to learn credit decisioning software and Bank systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICIATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
- Intermediate level of credit training
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels usually are moderate. May also involve travel to customers and property locations.

- Occasional bending or overhead lifting (storing files or boxes)
- The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting.

Pay Details:
$73,600 - $105,100 annually
Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.
This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
