Application Analyst - Process Automation - Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provident Bank is seeking an Application Analyst – Process Automation to support automation initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on analyzing business processes, documenting current and future state workflows, and supporting production automation monitoring to help drive efficiency and operational excellence.
The Application Analyst partners closely with stakeholders, subject‑matter experts, and technology teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable automation documentation and solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with business stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to gather and document requirements for automation and process improvement initiatives
- Perform process analysis to assess current‑state workflows and identify opportunities for future‑state automation and efficiency
- Develop detailed documentation, including as‑is procedures, future‑state process flows, and automation designs
- Support monitoring of production automation processes on a scheduled basis and serve as backup support as needed
- Acquire and maintain working knowledge of related banking systems and applications
- Ensure documentation and analysis outputs are clear, accurate, and usable by technical and business teams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of banking experience or experience with related banking software applications
- Business process mapping and diagramming (preferred)
- FIS banking core platform (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel
- Experience with workflow diagramming and process‑mapping tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to analyze patterns, workflows, and potential outcomes
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks effectively
Certifications
- UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Associate – Required
- UiPath Certified Professional Automation Business Analyst – Preferred
Working Conditions

Pay Details:
$26.15 - $32.67/hourly
Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.
This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
