POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under general direction, this position’s role is to gain knowledge, practical experience and skills in handling all aspects of portfolio management as relates to CRE, Middle Market or Business Banking products and services. The primary focus will be supporting the Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in their direct portfolio management and any other department related assigned functions. This position is considered the less experienced level in this job family. As such, the incumbent is expected to gain skills & experience leading to a Portfolio Manager position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers by assisting with such duties as:
- Assists with soliciting existing portfolio customers in an effort to increase and retain loan volume and cross sell Bank products and services.
- Performs continued Delinquency Control.
- Assists in preparing annual reviews of existing loans to access credit quality any covenant compliance; performs property inspections.
- Promotes customer relations.
Will assist with the preparation of Loan Offering Analyses, which include assisting with the following:
- Detailed property descriptions and market analysis.
- Detailed analysis of financial statements.
- Project economics, income and expense analysis, tenancy analysis, and property valuations and discounted cash flow models.
- Construction budget analysis with determination of sources and uses of funds.
- Borrower and Guarantor analysis.
- Assess lending risks, clearly identify offsetting mitigates and summarize recommendations.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Complete special projects as directed by the CRE Portfolio Manager Team Leader.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance or Business Administration preferred. Associate’s degree is required.
- 0 to 3 years related within financial industry working in both an analytical and customer service arena.
- Financial analysis experience
- Prior experience in business development and build on strong client relationships.
- Proven customer service delivered in a timely professional manner.
- Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook), financial analysis programs and discounted cash flow models.
- Possess honesty and integrity. Demonstrated commitment to the highest ethical standards when dealing with clients and the public.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels usually are moderate. May also involve travel to customers and property locations.

Pay Details:
$61,600 - $75,000 annually
Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.
This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
