Sales Compensation Analyst - Full-time

POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

Under general direction, this position works with the sales analysis and sales tracking system. Coordinates with vendors and interacts with cross lines of business to validate sales tracking and referral program. Generates and distributes corporate sales reports, and other statistical analysis as requested.  The in-cumbent will be the contact for all inquiries in regard to sales payouts and discrepancies but will escalate issues to management as necessary.   Incumbent is expected to perform routine and complex non-routine duties of the job.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the design of incentive plans for various positions. Evaluate, back-test, and recommend design concepts and mechanics. Forecast and model performance and payout distributions against budget and prior year.
  • Conduct reporting, including reporting from disparate data sources, to support business requirements.
  • Maintaining the quality, integrity and accuracy of sales automation and tracking system.
  • Provide /incentive recommendations by evaluating benchmarks and business goals.
  • Provide support for projects which may include market research, competitive intelligence, systems/reporting enhancements, process improvements, and communications content.
  • Coordinate plan approvals and acknowledgments, develop communication materials, and build employee calculators.
  • Acts as main contact for providing support for the sales tracking.
  • Handling all discrepancies; researches and provides solutions.
  • Tracking referrals for the purpose of validation to ensure effective payouts.
  • Accurately process monthly, quarterly, annual and special incentive payments.
  • Partner with system administrators and payroll as needed. May build dynamic calculators to process incentives in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales tracking files up to date.
  • Manage accruals and budget for incentives.
  • Create and maintain job/incentive codes and other relevant data.
  • Assist leadership with the management of workflow coming from Business Partners and Business leaders including promotional increases, offer support, responding to data requests, answering technical incentive program questions, and evaluating non-standard requests.
  • Partner with other Lines of Business on a variety of cross-functional initiatives and compensation related projects.
  • Create presentations, graphs or dashboards to display results of reports.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify trends/insights that will influence business decisions.
  • Is responsible for other administrative duties of the sales department and maintains department files.
  • Performs other related duties.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts and other information.
  • Ability to manage own workflow and resolve questions and problems with supervisor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and proven ability to quickly understand technology.
  • Good communications and organizing skills and accuracy when working with details under pressure.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out the instructions furnished and use good judgment to determine when more senior involvement is required.
  • Solid research and problem-solving skills.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree preferred.

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate. This position involves travel to customers and property locations.

  • Lifting from 5 to 10 lbs. (printer paper, storage boxes)
  • Occasional bending or overhead lifting (storing files or boxes)
  • The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Pay Details:

$45,400 - $46,900 Annually

 

Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.

 

This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
