SEC Reporting Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
Manage the preparation and compilation of the Company’s internal financial reports submitted to Executive Management and the Board of Directors and all public reports, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K in compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting regulations. Manage, coach, and provide guidance to financial reporting team members. Serve as a key business partner to various cross-functional groups including investor relations, accounting, tax, treasury, legal, and others to ensure timely support requests and accurate reporting. Responsible for evaluating and documenting technical accounting analyses, maintaining accounting policies and narrative, and performing certain monthly and quarterly close activities. This position will be responsible for researching and evaluating complex accounting matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and support the implementation of new accounting standards and other applicable financial reporting guidance, as well as document technical accounting issues and provide memos to external auditors. Work closely with external auditors to ensure new accounting standards and changes to existing accounting standards are implemented correctly.
- Oversee the accounting for complex and technical items. This includes reviewing equity and stock compensation workpapers, derivative journal entries and quarterly footnote and the statement of cash flows. Review the financial statements and all footnote tables for accuracy and completion. Prepare and compile financial data and supporting schedules in support of required financial statement disclosures including preparation of exhibits, footnotes, and MD&A.
- Work in conjunction with the Director of Financial reporting and Chief Accounting Officer in the preparation and gathering of information from various departments, the Company’s quarterly Earnings Release Investor. Review the draft of the Company’s quarterly Earnings Release and ensure all comments from management, outside legal advisors and the Company’s public accountants have been made.
- Contribute to monthly financial review meetings and be able to discuss trends, yields and general analysis of financial results in settings with the different production areas around the bank.
- Represent the accounting department in special projects and other duties, including supporting the Company’s suite of financial systems and assisting in reconciliations, as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 or more years prior professional experience in accounting/finance with specific knowledge on SEC reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of Accounting, GAAP, and SEC Reporting.
- Knowledge of Workiva preferred, but not required.
- Proficient with MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree is a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate. This position involves travel to customers and property locations.

Pay Details:
$73,600 - $ 120,900 annually
Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.
This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
