Product Analyst - Consumer Digital Products - Iselin, NJ

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Product Analyst is responsible for analyzing product performance, customer behavior, market trends, and operational metrics to support the development, enhancement, and optimization of the Bank's products and services. This role serves as a critical link between Product Management, Operations, Technology, Marketing, Finance, and Risk teams, providing actionable insights that drive business decisions and improve the customer experience.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and analyze product performance using financial, operational, and customer metrics; develop dashboards, scorecards, reporting packages, and product health assessments.
  • Analyze customer behavior, adoption patterns, retention, engagement, trends, opportunities, and risks; recommend actions that improve product performance and customer experience.
  • Partner with Product Managers to gather and validate business requirements and support business cases, forecasts, ROI analyses, impact assessments, product launches, enhancements, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis, monitor customer needs and emerging technologies, and evaluate competitor products, pricing strategies, and feature sets.
  • Use analytics and business intelligence tools to identify actionable insights; develop recurring and ad hoc reports for executive leadership and help ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Data teams on governance, approvals, audits, strategic initiatives, documentation, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Help ensure product operations align with applicable federal and state regulations and remain informed on industry best practices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in product management, product analytics, business analytics, financial services, or a related field.
  • Experience analyzing customer, financial, and operational performance data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or a similar business intelligence platform.
  • Banking, payments, treasury management, digital banking, or fintech experience.
  • Experience supporting product development or business process improvement initiatives.
  • Master's degree, advanced analytics certification, or Power BI/Tableau certification.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is performed in a normal office environment; noise levels are usually moderate.
  • Prolonged sitting.
  • Lifting from 5 to 10 lbs., including printer paper and storage boxes.
  • Occasional bending or overhead lifting when storing files or boxes.
  • May involve travel to customers and property locations.

PAY DETAILS

$77,000 - $110,000 annually

Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.

 

This role is eligible to participate in an annual incentive opportunity based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
