Marketing Data Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting data‑driven marketing strategies by analyzing and optimizing marketing campaigns—particularly digital initiatives. This role partners closely with Marketing, Digital, and Analytics teams to evaluate campaign performance, uncover insights, and support targeting and personalization efforts that drive measurable business impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with the Digital Marketing & Analytics team to collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data from multiple sources
- Evaluate KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance, conversion, and engagement
- Conduct customer segmentation, trend analysis, and predictive modeling to enhance targeting strategies
- Collaborate with internal data teams to improve customer data integration into marketing platforms
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Oracle Eloqua Insight, Tableau, and Google Analytics
- Monitor and report on digital marketing performance across channels
- Work with Digital teams to use data insights to optimize website content and user experience
- Research industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities to strengthen marketing strategies
- Respond to ad‑hoc analysis requests and translate findings into clear, business‑focused insights
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within a financial services or regulated environment
- Strong experience in data analytics within a marketing or digital environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and digital advertising platforms
- Hands‑on experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar visualization tools
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (Oracle Eloqua preferred)
- Solid understanding of digital marketing KPIs, attribution, and channel performance
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Working knowledge of SQL or experience querying large datasets (preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
Working Conditions
- Office‑based environment with prolonged sitting
- Hybrid work schedule with in‑office presence 2–3 days per week
- Occasional lifting (5–10 lbs.) and light physical activity
- Moderate noise level
- May require travel to Provident offices, branches, or customer locations

Pay Details:
$53,800- $76,800/annually
Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.
This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
