POSITION SUMMARY
This position plays a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day operational integrity of the Bank by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and responsive service across critical processing functions. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who enjoys problem‑solving, exercising sound judgment, and working collaboratively across teams. Responsibilities include transaction balancing, exception and adjustment processing, fraud review, and responding to internal and external inquiries, all while adhering to regulatory and procedural requirements. This position offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in bank operations while contributing directly to a positive customer and employee experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform balancing, reporting, and research functions related to Item Processing activities, including exception processing, account adjustments, and cash letter settlements
- Complete data entry and file maintenance processing responsibilities accurately and timely
- Review suspect fraud transactions and exercise sound judgment when determining payment or return decisions
- Respond to customer, vendor, and internal business line inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Participate in required training and development programs
- Follow all procedural and regulatory guidelines and assist others as needed to achieve departmental objectives
- Perform less complex operational tasks, including adjustments and reconciliations, as requested by management
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in bank operations preferred
- Strong professional communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely present information and respond to inquiries from representatives of other business lines
- Working knowledge of Reg CC, UCC, Reg J, and Check 21
- General PC proficiency, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and Zoom

- Work is primarily performed in a normal office environment with moderate noise
- Prolonged sitting
- Lifting 5–10 lbs. (e.g., printer paper, storage boxes)
- Occasional bending or overhead lifting (e.g., storing files or boxes)
- Hazards are those typically found in a normal office setting

Pay Details:
$77,000-$110,000 annually
Please note: The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job‑related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.
This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
