Benefits Administrator

The Benefits Administrator will support the operations of the benefits team with responsibility for select benefit programs including Leave of Absence, Wellness, New Hire Orientation, Provident EDYOU and Total Rewards Statements.  The Benefits Administrator will inform employees on benefits matters regarding eligibility, coverage and provisions. The Benefits Administrator will compile and maintain records and documentation, assist with surveys, and provide internal communication, will support the open enrollment process and facilitate day-to-day operations.

 

  • Administration of Leave of Absence program including communications with employees, updating time sheets, preparing of benefits calculations and reports.

  • Administration of Discover Wellness including communications and education, tracking data, vendor administration and scheduling of on-site events.

  • Administration of Provident EdYou including communications and education, vendor administration and payment processing.

  • Prepare Total Rewards Statements which includes vendor management and data compilation.

  • Assist with third party vendor management including the benefits platform, bswift.  Responsibilities include trouble-shooting, ticket tracking, issue resolution and information updates.

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Does not require managing staff.

 

SKILLS AND TRAINING: 

 

 

  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer programs particularly Excel, Word, Adobe

  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects for timely completion.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to shift attention quickly and accurately from one matter to another.

  • Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions consistent with job functions.  Ability to remain composed and make appropriate decisions under stressful situations

  • Experience with webinars, recording and video a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including to speaking to large groups.

 

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma or GED and/or some college or equivalent experience.

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

  • 0-3 yrs in benefits, project management, retail banking

  • 2 years of related administrative experience 

 

 

Work is performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate. Will involve travel to bank locations.

HAZARDS:

The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting and those present in commuting by car. Occasionally may be exposed to those conditions present in public forums and meeting places.
