Relationship Manager III - Healthcare Lending

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Relationship Manager III for Healthcare Lending is a senior level role. You will develop commercial loan requests from centers of influence, existing customers and other sources. The RM III will have the ability to underwrite specific credit requests which could include Healthcare and Not-for-Profit Lending. You will prepare and present loan offerings to designated levels of authority and manage the entire credit approval process through closing by directing administrative staff and/or legal counsel. The RM III will monitor and maintain relationships to insure timely loan administration which may include repayment, receipt of required financial updates, detection of potential problems and opportunities for additional business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop business opportunities through customer, professional and organizational contacts.
- Refer and/or cross-sell banks products and services.
- Understand, structure and present loan requests to optimize the return to the bank.
- Review loan documentation for correctness, attend loan closings, and follow up on missing or exception items.
- Monitor delinquencies, overdrafts and financial indicators of potential loan repayment problems.
- Organize and prioritize workflow to ensure highest priorities are addressed on a timely basis.
- Attend Bank meetings as needed.
- Active involvement in community and business organizations is encouraged
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent job training/experience
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience commensurate with job function
- Industry expertise in Healthcare and familiarity with banking acute care medical centers and hospitals, long-term care facilities, ambulatory surgery centers, small to large medical groups including specialty medical practices, hospice providers and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate and present information and respond to questions in person, small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the Bank.
- Ability to utilize experience in Healthcare and Not-for-Profit lending to quickly analyze and partner with analysts to underwrite specific credit requests if all types
- Familiarity with the market territory including all of New Jersey and nearby parts of neighboring states
- Proven ability to successful develop business through external referral sources
- Knowledge of Baker Hill software a plus
- Comprehensive financial and loan analysis experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of underwriting techniques
- Proficient with software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate.

Pay Details:
$177,300-$208,500 annually
Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.
This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
