Commercial Lines Production Team Leader

POSITION SUMMARY

The Team Leader – Commercial Lines Production will train and develop Provident Protection Plus producers  and grow business in South Jersey, Central Jersey, and Pennsylvania. This is an on-site role based in Iselin, NJ, leading a team of Commercial Lines Producers. The Team Leader will educate their team in insurance, selling, and strategically leveraging appointments. They will be responsible for hitting sales goals, the individual sales goals of their direct reports and overall goals set for the larger team. 

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES       

• Develop new and experienced Commercial Lines Producers in areas of insurance, insurance coverage, sales, and prospecting. Create, document, and appropriately update a training program for sales staff, including examples and referenceable guides on topics such as prospecting techniques, cold calling, landing appointments and effective closing strategies.
• Expand the Provident Protection Plus business-to-business sales in South Jersey, Central Jersey, and Pennsylvania and his goals as set by their leader.
• Work with Bank and Wealth Management teams on cross-selling opportunities to strengthen client relationships and provide exceptional service to customers.
• Attend networking events, various association meetings independently and with other producers to build a strong relationship between clients and network of producers. 

SKILLS AND TRAINING

• AMS 360 Experience a plus. 
• Insurance industry experience preferred.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Need to be extremely well organized.
• Familiarity with windows-based software.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and underwriters.

 EDUCATION

• High School Degree or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Risk Management Degree preferred    

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years commensurate with job function.

  LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES

• Must possess Active Property & Casualty Brokers License. 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in a normal office environment.  Noise levels are usually moderate. 

Pay Details:
$60,000 - $100,000 
Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs. This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
