POSITION SUMMARY
The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of small to mid-sized accounts that are routine to moderately complex. The Account Manager manages assigned accounts and works closely with management, claims, marketing, and accounting as part of the overall service function.
This role is part of Provident Protection Plus (PPP), the insurance subsidiary of Provident Bank.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maintaining and managing a small to mid-size book of business in accordance with the Agency’s renewal timeline as efficiently as possible
- Assists clients in making appropriate coverage changes and informs and educates clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures
- Submit renewal applications, coverage specifications, loss runs, and loss summaries to the marketplace and negotiate directly with the markets
- Maintain appropriate level of communication with clients
- Be proactive and organized in the renewal process to exceed client expectations
- Adhere to internal processes, timelines, and protocols
- Complete and prepare certificates of insurance with the ability to review the insurance requirements within a contract and issue, accordingly, generate proposals, issue Auto ID cards, input billing, policy changes, policy summaries, coverage reviews, and suspense follow up
- Check policy coverages and endorsements for accuracy
- Verify the accuracy of Direct Billed and Agency Billed items
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND TRAINING:
- Must be well-organized, with excellent math, written and oral communication skills.
- Service oriented, team player who has attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, proactive environment.
- Critical thinking and good judgment to quickly determine and prioritize key issues
- Strong technical skills for data entry, Word, and Excel a plus
- Proficiency in AMS360 is a plus
EDUCATION:
- College Degree preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years commensurate with job function.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES:
- Must possess Active Property & Casualty Brokers License.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels usually are moderate. May also involve travel to customers and property locations.

Pay Details:
$60,000 - $100,000
Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs. This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
