Trainer II

POSITION SUMMARY

Under general direction, this position is responsible for training all retail sales and operations employees on all duties and responsibilities, and provides follow up training as needed.  This position is responsible for non-retail training programs for corporate employees.  Acts as a liaison between departments to translate updates to Contact Center and branch policies and procedures.  This position is considered at the intermediate or journeyperson level.  Incumbent is expected to have platform skills and knowledge of Bank’s culture and organization to exercise independent judgment within established procedures and policies.

 

  MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Deliver training programs based in identified performance measures in order to enhance job performance and meet business objectives. Has basic working knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS).

 

 

Design and maintain training material, such as course manuals, job aids and reference sheets that reinforce learning.  Maintains an understanding and connection to the training material and audience.

 

Assists in planning and implementing of new/requested training programs

 

 

Monitors and reports training progress of new and existing trainees for quality assurance and needs assessments.

 

 

Perform administrative tasks related to planning, communicating, and conducting training (maintain virtual/in-person classroom).

 

 

 

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

       None

 

  SKILLS AND TRAINING

  •        Knowledge of basic training activities, such as facilitation and presentation techniques.
  •        Knowledge of the principles and practices of training and organizational development.
  •        Ability to develop course curriculums and training materials.
  •        Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions for all learning styles.
  •        Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  •        Considerable knowledge of and the ability to practically apply, modern office practices and procedures related to Microsoft Office Professional Suite including Microsoft Outlook, Word and other programs for the PC.
  •        Ability to work a flexible schedule.

 

 EDUCATION

       College degree preferred.

 

  WORK EXPERIENCE

       2 to 5 years in learning and development.

 

  LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

       Work is performed in a normal office environment.

 

HAZARDS

       The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting.
