HR Compensation Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides support for compensation related programs for the organization. The incumbent works both independently and collaboratively with other HR managers and vendors in support of the HR system (Success Factors). The incumbent will also support compensation processes, including job evaluations, third party competitive benchmark surveys and other special projects.
The incumbent handles confidential and sensitive data. Required competencies include, strength with numbers, detail orientation, and a passion for process improvement.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Compensation and HR (Success Factors) System Administration
- Collaborates on the planning, coordination and administration of the annual performance and salary review program
- Provides overall support for Success Factors and its modules .
- Works independently, testing, researching and resolving problems or unexpected results, importing data, running reports etc.
- Works collaboratively with other HR managers in support of the system.
- Keeps abreast of and manages related system upgrades and system testing. Serves as a liaison and collaborates with internal and external (vendors) stakeholders to coordinate upgrades and other matters involving the exchange of data, if needed.
- Assists end users with system functionality and features. Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation as needed (other than training manuals). Answers system question from employees and managers.
Compensation Analysis
- Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information
- Collaborates with line mangers and other HR team members on job evaluations and market data analysis.
Special Projects
- May work on integrations of systems as they apply to HR, assists with testing and monitoring automated HR data interfaces to and from in-house and external systems/vendors
- Annual Proxy Statement - Requests and maintains required information, and verifies its accuracy. Completes compensation disclosure tables and footnotes.
- Works on other special projects as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
SKILLS AND TRAINING
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills including v-lookup, pivot tables etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and on a team.
- Must be a self-starter and be highly organized.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong Project management skills, working effectively in ambiguous situations in a collaborative and inclusive manner.
- Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, IT or related discipline is preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
5 years work experience in HR Administration, Compensation, HR Technology (HRIS) or other related HR experience supporting system integrations, combining HR processes and system analysis expertise. Previous experience with Success Factors is preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels usually are moderate.
HAZARDS
